Companions are server controlled characters you can hire from any Innkeeper and will fight for you as long as you remain online. While they are in your party, they can fulfill different roles such as Tank, Healer or DPS. You can easily put together a group that could suit your particular needs and run the content that you want, whether it's questing, dungeons, raiding or battlegrounds. The Companions come prepared with their own equipment and consumables and will try to perform their role to the best of their ability. They can be upgraded and specialized at level 60 and they will grow stronger alongside you.
